Birding with Alex

Birding with Alex

CA$25.00

Join us at Wildwood to welcome back a former Naturalist, Alex, in leading a birding walk!

Alex is a Registered Professional Biologist and is passionate about marine life in addition to birds. He has spent many days watching, listening, and photographing birds in Wildwood’s Coastal Douglas-fir forest. He seeks out birds wherever he goes - around the west coast and overseas in Europe and has found many of his “lifers”!

Birding with Alex will take place May 23rd, from 10:00-12:00. Kids and families welcome!

No matter the weather, the event will go on! We will not be cancelling due to rain.

Arrival:

Please plan to arrive around 9:45, and park in the main parking lot as you turn off of Crane Road onto the property. Walk down the drive to the Visitor Centre where Alex and our naturalists will be waiting for you.

Amenities and Accessibility:

There are 2 outhouses, one being accessible to wheelchairs. You will be outdoors for the entirety of the event, and will be walking on forest trails. On the trails, there’s a small downhill slope in the forest and a bigger slope up the gravel path. Please note that cell service is limited.

We’re sorry to say that dogs are not allowed on site so please leave your furry friends at home.
