Spring Nature Activities

Spring Nature Activities

These activity pages have been created by the Ecoforestry Institute based on seasonal patterns at Wildwood Ecoforest. They are intended for free use by anyone who wishes to connect with the Land. Several of the journal pages have short educational videos to go with them. These videos can be found on our YouTube Channel. Search for Ecoforestry Institute Society on YouTube and look for our When in Doubt, Go Out(side)! playlist. These activities are linked to the BC curriculum and are suitable for students ages 5-12. BC curriculum links by grade are included in the booklets. Activities are 1-2 pages and are in the format of a nature journal. You can print them out and take them outside with you for some fun, hands-on outdoor learning.

These Spring activities are usually able to be done from late March to June depending on the year. Included in the spring activities are learning about plants, ants, observation skills, sound maps, making a nature journal and much more!
