Wildwood Field Trips

At Wildwood Ecoforest our outdoor, place based programs blend Indigenous knowledge with Western science and support the BC curriculum. Programs are specifically adapted to suit the age and learning outcomes of each grade from K-12.

Cost: $15/student, due after booking as an e-transfer to admin@ecoforestry.ca. If you can only pay by cheque, please indicate that in the booking questionnaire and we will be in touch.

Length: 3.5 - 4.5 hours, depending on program. Start times are flexible.

Dates: Wednesdays/Thursdays starting March 1st. *Please indicate if you are unavailable to attend on a Wednesday/Thursday.

Note: We are currently updating our spring calendar. If these days do not work for your group, please let us know your preferred dates.

Bursaries: Available through Wildwood upon request. You can learn more here.

Accessibility: We are working to make our field trips accessible to everyone. Let us know when you register if your class has any accessibility needs. A TrailRider is available upon request.

Weather: Programs run rain or shine. Cancellations are made at the sole discretion of the EIS Education Team in the event of safety hazards (e.g., high winds). Full refunds or rescheduling will be offered only if EIS cancels the program.

We look forward to having your class visit Wildwood Ecoforest. To ensure that you and your students have the best experience possible, please read through this guide before your field trip.

Please note that the Ecoforestry Field School can only be booked for May 20th or later!


All of the student education programs at Wildwood are partially subsidized so that we can make them affordable for all families.
