Transform Invasive Plants into Functional Art

Turn ecological challenges into creative opportunities in this hands-on workshop focused on transforming invasive species into functional art. Participants will learn to identify invasive English Ivy and explore sustainable harvesting techniques that support healthy ecosystem restoration.

You’ll then use the harvested ivy to weave a small basket—creating something both beautiful and practical while actively helping to restore native biodiversity. We'll also craft herbal incense blends using aromatic invasive plants, transforming these persistent species into natural scent creations you can take home.

Perfect for crafters, nature lovers, and anyone passionate about sustainability, ecological restoration, and creatively reimagining nature’s more unruly guests!

Cost: $34 per participant. All materials provided!
